CEREC® Onlays and Inlays vs. Traditional "Fillings"
Tooth enamel is the hardest substance in the body. Damage caused by decay or trauma weakens the tooth because enamel has been compromised. The ideal solution is to restore the tooth with a material that is as strong as enamel, while maintaining as much natural tooth structure as possible. In many cases, CEREC® Inlays and Onlays are a better choice than a traditional filling, because of the more durable nature of CEREC® ceramics.
